• A Letter From Your Wolf Boss: Last Year's Recap & Plans for 2026

    Happy New Year, Pack!

2025 has come and gone so fast, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on all we accomplished together this past year.

At the start of 2025, I had set out with the goal of being consistent with my content (both on Twitch and other platforms) to try and grow as a content creator. I really wanted to put my all into things this year, but got hit with a few too many side quests to be able to make that happen in the way I had hoped.

While I didn't accomplish everything I had planned to, there's definitely a lot to celebrate still! Let's have a look at what we achieved this last year.

    2025 Recap

    • Reached 2.6k followers on Twitch and 3.7k subscribers on YouTube.

    • Had a clip blow up and get over 400k views on Instagram (yes, it was the clicker training one).

    • Joined the Vtuber Creator Club on Twitch.

    • Started up the VOD channel and got through all the 2024 backlog.

    • Hosted my first ever uncapped subathon and it was a HUGE success!

    • Was able to move out and into the new wolf den!

    • Met so many wonderful people through collabs and had lots of fun with friends.

    • Welcomed many new guild rats and spread the word about Minotaur Milk!

These are just a few of the highlights from the year, (I'm sure I've forgotten some too) but looking back at 2025, overall I'm really happy with what I've done and accomplished so far!

    A Little Transparency from Me

Before I get into what my plans are for the upcoming year, I need to take a moment to be 100% transparent with you.

A big thing I've personally always wanted to change about the content creation space is the transparency. When it comes to the time and resources - including financial aspects - it takes A LOT. Yes, even as a small vtuber like myself.

This year was my most "profitable" year of vtubing, yet everything was still 60% self-funded. That means that I paid out of pocket for the bulk of things related to my streams. This includes everything from video editing for clips, to buying games and subscriptions for things like Discord to unlock the server tag or Crowd Control so I can adjust the pricing of redeems.

    Why Does This Matter?

Well, unfortunately this means for the past 4 years, I've been funding the stream mostly by myself, essentially making no money from what I do.

Do I have to pay for any of those things? Absolutely not. There are plenty of creators doing amazing things with zero dollars and free resources or tools. But I want to be able to do those things, so I'm okay with paying for that out of my own pocket.

That said, the reality of doing that for so many years is that the costs add up very quick. I'm not saying this to try and get sympathy or anything, but I want to be honest with what's happening behind the scenes and how that's going to impact things a lot more for me this year. Now that I have more financial responsibilities with moving to the wolf den, that means things will be changing.

    What Changes You Can Expect

First off, I want to acknowledge a big change that's already happened: no more weekly clips. I hope that one day I'm able to financially sustain getting clips edited for weekly releases again, but for now, those are on pause. While that isn't great news, as I know how many of you found my channel because of those weekly clips, I see this as an opportunity for me to find a more sustainable way to make other content for YouTube.

Another thing changing is the types of content you'll see me do for streams. When it comes to playing games, you'll see me revisit a lot of games more and focus on long plays. "Old" favourites like Minecraft, Teddy's Haven and Skyrim will make a return! I'll also be mixing in more variety when it comes to non-gaming content. I know it will be different, but that also means there are more opportunities for me to try new stream formats that I've been thinking of.

All of this means that ANY support, makes that much more of an impact! Tipping me on Ko-Fi or becoming a Loot Drop member is still the best way to support for what I do, but there are still lots of ways you can support me for FREE. Sharing my posts on Bluesky or sending a clip to your friend, those small actions all add up and help more people find my content! However you choose to support me, I appreciate it! 💚

So go forth and share the good word about Minotaur Milk and your favourite blursed BarkTuber!

Let's Get Down to 2026 Goals

I've always had a love/hate relationship with setting goals. They sound great when I make them, but it's the sticking with them that I struggle with, especially when it comes to content creation. Mostly because I set my goals big and aspirations high, and then get the wind knocked out of my sails when things don't go as planned. (Thank you, perfectionism.)

For 2026, I want to try something different. This year, I'm turning my goals into a bingo card! That's right, it's time to turn it into a game so it makes my ADHD brain go 'brrrrr' in a good way.

2026 Goals Bingo (5x5 bingo card)

I know what you're thinking. "That sounds like a good idea, Vana! What happens if you get a bingo?" And to that I say... NEXT QUESTION!

But seriously, I have no clue what will happen. I'll definitely celebrate somehow. Maybe I'll finally do a reading of Morning Glory Milking Farm, or get a special art piece made, or maybe finally launch some merch. I'll come up with something eventually!

My 4-year anniversary of debuting as a vtuber is also just around the corner - at the end of January. So look forward to what I have planned for that to kick off 2026!

Final Thoughts From Your Wolf Boss

I want to finish this up by saying a big THANK YOU EVERYONE! It's always hard to put into words how much gratitude I feel every day for having a community filled with supportive people, who embrace me for who I am. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish all that I have. While some changes are coming to my content, I know that 2026 will be a year where I can grow even more as a person and creator with all of you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! At this point, I've probably spent about 4 hours writing (and rewriting) this before actually sending it. I appreciate y'all so much, and I'm looking forward to what 2026 brings!
